ANNUAL AUTHORITY TO PRACTISE

Once full registration is granted the psychologist is required to pay an annual renewal fee to maintain registration. This fee is $80.00 and can be paid by BPAY (Telephone and Internet Banking) or post via cheque, money order and credit card (Visa and Mastercard only). .

Alternatively, this payment can be made with cash, cheque, money order, credit card (Visa, Bankcard and Mastercard only), or Eftpos in person at the Board.

Please note : credit card payments cannot be accepted over the phone or by facsimile.

The responsibility to maintain current registration whilst practising as a psychologist is that of the registrant. To assist with registration renewals a reminder notice is sent to registrants each year. It is therefore important that registrants notify the Board of any change of your postal address. .

Annual renewal notices combined with annual returns are forwarded to registrants in March of each year requesting payment by 30 April. If no payment is received another notice is issued and payment is requested by 30 June. Failure to pay this renewal fee will result in the registrant’s name being removed from the register. .

Once the annual renewal fee is processed, the re-registering psychologist should expect to receive a receipt of fees paid along with an Authority to Practise card within 7-10 days of forwarding payment to the Board. In the absence of this documentation, please contact the Board. .
