PSYCHOLOGICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ACCOUNT

SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS

Through the provision of scholarships and grants, from this Research Account, the Board aims to provide opportunities for psychologists to obtain funding to undertake projects in accordance with the objectives of the Psychologists Act 2001.

Accordingly, the Board invites applications for scholarships and grants.

Scholarships (up to $2000)
Twelve (12) non transferable scholarships per annum will be awarded to specific individuals. The Board proposes to award scholarships three (3) times per year.

When lodging an application for a scholarship, reference must be made to the Education and Research Scholarship Information/guidelines.

For attendance to a conference, seminar, professional development activity

Closing dates:

31 March
For projects commencing May, June, July, August
(4 scholarships are available)

31 July
For projects commencing September, October, November, December
(4 scholarships are available)

30 November
For projects commencing January, February, March, April
(4 scholarships are available)

Grants (up to $50,000)
Grants may be awarded to individuals, groups and institutions annually. The Board proposes to award/advertise grants annually.

When lodging an application for a grant, reference must be made to the Education and Research Grant Information/guidelines.

The closing date for grant applications is 30 November for commencement on 1 February in the following year.
